There is not a risk of scarring, bleeding or infection but is recommended after minor liposuction
when the swelling has subsided. Threads and rejuvenation procedure were developed
and patented by a M.D. in Moscow and is being preformed in the Beth Israel Medical Center,
New York, by Lewis M. Feder M.D., a Fifth Avenue cosmetic surgeon.
Acne vaccine in the experimental stages is being facilitated by the genome research. Corixa Corp., a research and development company, based in Seattle, Washington are refining an antigen to inoculate against the acne P bacterium. The bacterium is part of the normal flora (bacteria normally residing in the skin) pin pointing its reaction to genes, chronological aging and development is paramount. The initial goal is a vaccine for severe acne patients requiring oral isotretinoin trade name of Accutane. A prophylactic (preventive) vaccine will be next on the agenda. Testing of the first generation of the vaccination may be ready as soon as 12 to 18 months.
